Directions To Do Andy Sixx Haircut
Students in the Department of Dramatic Arts,
Executive Committee of CEADI As we make clear the facts and our position of what happened on Wednesday 22 / 9 in the Student Assembly at the headquarters of Venezuela. It was motioned and approved in the previous Student Assembly on Wednesday 15 / 9 conducted in French and called openly through billboards, posters and Web from that day.
This assembly was called to address specific issues such place and in this way include claims for in the request to present at the day 26 / 9 in the Superior Council Extraordinary.
This assembly adopted the following agenda:
1) reports the status of
IUNA
2) Debate situation
Venezuela
3) Voting on motions
During the course of it, a student taking the seat to motion on Friday of that week and then make another meeting to ratify or not the measure of force, and two colleagues then gave his endorsement. In assembly must vote on every motion proposed by any student, as we all have the right to comment and make proposals openly and freely. Annulment a motion can be made by only one who has proposed, which is why exceeds the powers of the moderator to allow or not to vote either.
members of the executive committee present when the vote went: Ariadna Cano (joint), Sofia Scala (Sec. Extra-departmental relations), Lucia Garre (Sec. Culture), and Ana Rodriguez (Sec. Student Rights .) As driving the Student Center, we assumed it was a mistake to ignore the opinion of the plebiscite when voting for the seizure of the headquarters of Venezuela, knowing that two weeks before 35% of the total census had expressed his opinion respect to through a vote by ballot, which gave a 75% balance against the decision. We recognize that as student leaders we should not have ignored that vote.
Therefore, the mistake was to have individual students voted neglecting our responsibility as representatives of CEADI It is legitimate that the assembly has voted for the motion, regardless of the outcome, because such actions are found in the frameworks legality.
Statutorily, the Assembly is the highest student representation and each is sovereign and decisive in itself by definition, with a quorum of 10% of voters in reference the last census of the student union election (year 2009 to 481 voters). At the time of the vote on this motion was attended by 50 people, which falls within the framework of the legality of it.
In conclusion, we recognize our mistakes, but why not condemn us, we know that the mistake is a consequence of making and accepting that is politically mature student and faculty. We believe the information is the tool to expand consciousness, and therefore we invite all our colleagues to read the Higher Education Act, the Report of Chancellor, Curriculum, the Provisional Statute of the Statute of CEADI IUNA etc., which may get in the photocopier. Thus, to stimulate further discussion among peers in order to continue building together and deepen a political independent who still believe it is in the process of growth.
